Fashioned for the Geek explores the world of television costume design, providing insight, analysis, and personal commentary. Showing appreciation to the hard working designers, and providing greater awareness to the important role a costume designer plays in a production.
Kristin Koga has a Bachelor of Arts in Textile and Clothing from California State University Long Beach. During her college career she interned at the NBCUniversal costume department and contributed to the websites Clothes on Film and Tyranny of Style. In 2014, 2015, and 2016 Kristin Koga was a finalist in the Her Universe "Geek Couture" Fashion Show at San Diego Comic-Con, this brought together her passion for costume design and fashion. The design was inspired by John Watson from the BBC Sherlock series in 2014, Louise Belcher from Bob's Burgers in 2015, and Carol Pilbasian from Last Man On Earth in 2016.

Gabriella Joma has a background in Fashion and Business and currently works in management in the luxury beauty and fragrance industry. She likes to attend and photograph various movie and music events, and believes that Tom Hardy is the greatest actor of our generation.
